Made of glass fibre reinforced plastic for long life. The steel spring is coated with a black anti-corrosion oxidation layer to counteract deterrent reflection and ensure optimal capture. This layer also contributes to a longer service life.
Sensitivity of the mechanism is adjustable in 3 positions:
- 5 to 10 g body weight
- 10 to 18 body weight
- More than 25 grams body weight

The Snap-A-Rat Rat Trap fits the Rat Dual Bait (VOERD002FX), Aegis Mini Rat (VOERD009) and Ultrabait VR (ULTR003) rat feeding boxes. Captured rats can be removed from the clamp without touching the animal.
